seeing the Light

When I first heard about seasonal colour analysis, I was intrigued. After a few unsuccessful online quizzes and DIY attempts, I decided to book a professional consultation, and that decision changed everything.

The beautiful drapes, the precision of the process, and the way certain shades transformed my complexion captivated me. Wearing my colours made me feel confident, radiant, and genuinely seen.

A Natural Next Step

That experience sparked a deep curiosity about the connection between what we wear and how we feel. Drawing on my background in psychology, I began studying colour theory and colour psychology and quickly saw how our outer presentation influences our inner world and vice versa.

Becoming a colour analyst felt like a natural evolution. I trained in Belgium and began helping clients discover not only the colours that illuminate them but also the confidence that comes from authentic self-expression. Each session is a collaborative process that blends colour and psychology, helping clients align their outward image with their inner identity.

My Mission

My mission is to help people see themselves clearly, feel authentically confident, and express who they are in a way that feels true, natural, and empowering.

A Fascination with the Mind–Body Connection

In my early twenties, I became fascinated by how our thoughts and beliefs shape our health, well-being, and the course of our lives. I realised I wanted to understand people on a deeper level and do work that felt truly meaningful.

Although my corporate job provided stability, it left me unfulfilled. That experience motivated me to study psychology (Bachelor programme), and I later completed a degree (MSc) in Health and Medical Psychology. My studies deepened my understanding of how the mind influences resilience, healing, and self-perception.

Black, I Still Love You Though

At that time, my wardrobe was almost entirely black, the one colour I trusted. With my slightly yellowish and greenish skin tone, I believed black was the only safe choice. When I wanted something lighter, I chose white or beige, thinking they would neutralise my complexion.

Then came the moment that still makes me laugh. My five-year-old niece looked at me one day and asked, with complete sincerity, “Marie, why are you so yellow?” I was probably wearing beige that day. Her honesty made me smile and also encouraged me to finally learn which colours truly suited me.
